Even though I have not posted any update news for a few weeks, I’ve been steadily adding new updates to CoCo-Pi throughout the entire month of December. The most recent updates include 2 new versions XRoar (1.0.5 release and SNAP-1.0.1000 WIP), the latest version of MAME (0.239) and updates to pyDriveWire to support the new ‘playsound’ feature (Michael Furman), new cassette conversion utilities (Tormod Volden), new public domain cartridges for the CoCo, IDE support scripts for EOU for XRoar (Michael Furman), Greg Dionne’s Java based MC-10 emulator and much more.
When updating your CoCo-Pi, please make sure to select “Update CoCo-Pi from git repo” and “Run CoCo-Pi fix script” in order for all the changes to be applied. Install the latest XRoar and MAME packages (from the same menu). Select the latest versions as the default.
Really excited to see what will be new for our hobby in 2022. Happy New Year, everyone!
